The Shabby Chic one is definitely the style of the moment. There's no furnishing magazine or online shop that's not talking about that. In addition, many websites and thematic blogs show several "do-it-yourself" tricks to make a home Shabby Chic.

Let's start with some "history": for the ones who still don't know it, the "Shabby Chic" term - used for the first time in 1980 by the The World of Interiors magazine - became popular in the nineties thanks to the american designer Rachell Aswell which turned him into a brand.

Hers was a great idea: to combine the "Shabby" style, that is the beauty of consumed-by-time furnitures, with a touch of "Chic", giving them new life by painting them in white with a decapé effect and by inserting silver accessories, crystal chandeliers and floral elements.

Along these twenty years many variations were born, and often Chic has decayed into Kitsch, especially when the presence of trinkets and laces was exagerated.

Instead, we prefer to reevaluate the Shabby, that finds in his "lived effect" and in natural materials its very own glamour, revealing more sobre and essential nordic-wise ambients.

Our proposals are designed to convey the Shabby essence at best: the beauty of imperfection, the charm of furniture and items worn by time, the elegance that meets practicality and comfort, the creation of spaces that have a soul, fresh and bright.

The Shabby colors that we have selected are light, both for wood and tints. The main color is white in its infinite nuances and, beside that, the cream colors - from rope to beige - and clay and sand rigorously matt and dusty.
